To help the environment, and put some green back into your pocket, it's important to find the most energy efficient HVAC systems on the market. At Four Seasons Heating & Cooling Specialists Inc, we can show you our selection and explain the energy efficient features of each unit.

What Is A SEER Number?

The best way to just energy efficiency on an air conditioner is to check out the seasonal energy efficiency rating number. This is commonly called the SEER number. Up until 2006, the government required that each air conditioning unit has a minimum of 10 SEER. The government has since raised the energy efficiency number to 13.

To explain the difference, a unit with 13 SEER will use 23% less energy than a unit with a 10 SEER. That's quite a bit of saving on your monthly utility bill. Four Seasons Heating & Cooling Specialists Inc has units all the way up to 20 SEER, so we definitely have a good selection of energy efficient units.
